Said he was from "the Telstra billing department" (Scam call) reported by Son

Caller said he was from "the Telstra billing department" and that I was to get 40% off my bill. I said I would contact my Telstra agent about that and hung up. Will report this to Telstra.

Fake Telstra Call (Scam call) reported by Sean

They thank you for being a Telstra customer and offer a 40% discount. I provided them with false identification and I checked out as ok. They then call you back and send you the offer via text with a link to activate the offer. The concerning thing is that the text comes from an official Telstra number.
