1st phonecall asking to confirm a time to come and install an electricity monitoring device on my smart meter. Hung up when I told them (2 males trying to explain to me) I didn't want it. Called back to ask my name and hung up when I told (her) I had called back and the number was disconnected.

Asking me to download AnyDesk Remote access app to fix net speeds (Scam call) reported by


Indian fella, called me and asked me to do a speed test. Claimed he was going to fix my internet speed. Asked me to download AnyDesk Remote Desktop App, at which point I realised he might be trying to access my device to steal from me so I hung up. Will call Belong or nBn to see if they have record of this call. I am waiting for the internet to be connected at the moment, so this call was somewhat topical at the moment but my alarm bells were ringing.

I received a call on 25/2/2022 12.04 PM. The person on call claimed he was from NBN and told me that my internet connection is insecure and someone is misusing it, he can assist me in resolving it while on call. Then he asked me to open my safari browser on iphone! I asked him if he could send an email , but he insisted it is not possible. Then I told him I'm busy , call me after 2 hours. Its been 3 hours and I haven't received a call back.
