No personal information was asked, other than my street address and email (I gave them the wrong email address so I knew they had my correct one). I received a loyalty discount with no lock-in contract.

Delay on answering, then Indian sounding lady says it's AGL and asked if I am happy with the service. Offered me a credit on my bill and a better deal, but I hung up when she wanted account details. I live chatted with AGL and they said its a scam.

Call from AGL sales team with a lower price plan available... but wanted me to provide personal & account details for security purposes. Said wouldn't provide anything as I had no way to confirm they were actually AGL. Called back on the main AGL customer service line who confirmed it was a legitimate call, and got full details of the offer they had (which wasn't actually any good)

Picked up after a delay. Indian voice claiming to be from AGL. Had a name and said it was a feedback call to check that I was happy with the service. Sounds like the real reason for the call is that he had a list and was confirming the presence of an AGL account for future scam. When I was hesitant he suddenly hung up.

This was legitimate, just because you dont want the call doesnt mean its not a legitimate call. Upgraded my plan from builder transferred account to a lower rate.

they might be, but ask for an id of the person, and call log number, then call AGL back to confirm its them, most scam calls pretend to be a legit company to get your details, only to use it to get funds out you.

Guenuine AGL call center. They were able to provide account details. They are looking to expand services they offer by obtaining email and flybuys account. Definitely still a marketing call
