Offered me $100 off my next electricity bill + $50 off my next gas bill if I stayed with them, and cheaper rates. I asked them to email me their offer and new ratesm but no email received yet, just some missed calls (one ring only). Their call centre procedure appears to be somewhat inadequate.

AGL called me and tried to get me to stay with them. They talk a lot of non sense and try to get a "YES" out of me. I said to them that I want to change to another provider and that is my decision but they just keep asking why? very rude on the phone.

AGL wants to retain our a/c. Told them we never cancelled. Received 4 more calls over a few days and gave them same answer. Today I received final account which they say is now closed. Same foreign accent from all callers.

Calling for feedback on why we closed our account. They’ve called every hour until I eventually answered - that’s pestering and excessive. We gave them an opportunity to keep us as customers, they weren’t interested, then waste time hassling and bombarding you with calls to get you to go back
