A man claiming to be James Anderson from the Australian Taxation Office called & threatened a warrant for my arrest if I do not contact them immediately because I owe the Tax Department money for Tax Freud.

The person said it's from the Australian tax office that i have tax issue and wants me to ring that number he spply. When I ask his name he ignored and I told him I need to recod it then he stopped.

I received a call with them saying they are from the Australian tax office and left a voicemail message asking to call them back regarding tax fraud or they will issue a warrant for my arrest. I called the A.T.O. Scam Number and it is a scam. It has been reported.

Normally tax office workers would say they are from the ATO, not "Australian taxation office" imagine saying that all day. Threats of arrests, warrants, courts etc for tax avoidance. Wonder if this caller could be arrested for impersonating offences, especially if he impersonated a government official. I'll forward this to the AFP.

Person called, I missed the call, they left a message stating that they were the Aust tax office and are contacting me about a tax fraud and to call them immediately back on the number before a warrant is put out for my arrest. When attempting to return the call the line disconnects .... defiantly a scam
