Received text from number +61 423 700250 It read: "Order confirmed #109-109101RD7 Amt. $2769.99 for Sony 55" LED 4K UHD Smart TV on 2021/05/25 @AMZ, Dial: (+61) 3 9005 7441 for cancelation or more information. When i called this number they answered as "Amazon" and asked what phone number i received the text message on - did not give info as i called on another landline. I offered order number but told me could not help me - would only tell me where in transit my item was - when i said i had not ordered anything from Amazon, they hung up. Strong Indian accent - a SCAM for sure !

As below today 25/5/21 - received text message saying my cc would be debited for an Amazon order for Lenovo laptop and giving this number to call to cancel the order. I have a legit order with Amazon at present so called thinking they'd made a mistake. Operator tried valiantly to get me credit card details from me and then called me stupid when I wouldnt give my cc number. They did have my email, mail address and last 4 digits of my credit card.
