Misleading discounts - wants your ID but wont show theirs... (Telemarketer) reported by Simply Energy

Caller wanted me to prove who I was, but couldn't do so themselves. They offer really good discounts for their elect & gas - but they DON'T tell you the discounts apply only to useage and not supply, and on rates that may be higher than what your existing discounts are applied to. I called Simply Energy directly who confirmed I am better off staying on my existing plan. ALWAYS call the provider direct
