Do answer the call but everyone's right, it's a pretty crap company that outsources its call centre. Support rep letting me know they had to reschedule the service. I was able to organise a suitable time with the support agent.

Detector Inspector inspect electrical and gas fittings in rentals. A Melbourne Victoria company. They Sms or email tenants. This number was used in 2021 and seemed to come from overseas call centre. Hiya on iPhone diverted call to voicemail, marked as telemarketer

They are legit. It's a service provided my rental agents for tenants. I have had them for both gas and electricity.

This is a company that does smoke detector testing and other tenant services. If you ignore them long enough they will eventually send a letter to you saying they will come into your place with a duplicate key to do their service.

Or if you answer the phone, they will organise a time that is suitable for you, so that you can be home if you wish. Answering one simple phone call saves them time and you the annoyance of receiving multiple calls.

Gas line appliance inspector with call centre in the Philippines. Philip Webb realestate gave tenants personal info to this group who then gave it to this offshore call centre. Told them to don’t call me again and told Philip Webb to stuff it.

Detector Inspector are a legitimate company who are engaged by your rental provider to conduct essential safety services and checks. They do contract to a call center that handles bookings on their behalf. Your lease will probably state that the real estate can/will give your number to tradespeople, nothing dodgy about the situation, although DI would be better off spending the extra $ to have locals handle the booking call.

Got the call today, told them to shove it and the same to our estate agent. The gas line/appliance checking legislation comes into effect March 2021 for rentals. Stop trying to force this into us now
