This number has called me every day at different times of the day since last friday (13/04/2018). I haven't answered and they left a voice message with only background noise, sounded kinda like an office. I also upgraded my phone and plan with Vodafone on the 13th and after reading the other comments I believe this number might belong to a Vodafone telemarketer. Also do NOT tell them your pin code for your account because that is for you to login in your account and there is no reason for them to have it.

The guy called me to upgrade my Vodafone plan asked me for the pin number which I don't remember. I thought it's pretty weird that a staff of mobile company called me and asked my pin number. So I said I am not interested in upgrading the plan I use but he kept asking me the pin number and texted me like this text confirms that you are speaking with a Vodafone team member right now. We require my PIN to discuss any details on your account. The text didn't show the number, only on AUVodafone. The text was shown up on my previous text from AUVodafone. I think it's pretty risky so I just hung this call up on him and immediately I got a text saying my number will be disconnected within next 24 hours. What the ****? it must be phishing.

The caller claimed that he is calling from Vodafone, and he offered me with some better monthly plans which he wouldn't tell me the details before I give him my PIN. I think it's pretty risky to tell someone your PIN over the phone and you don't know who is on the other end.

Vodafone Australia has a number of landlines they call from. I don't want them to sell to me so I don't answer, but I know this is them because they called me two days ago from 03 9091 6007.
