for Vodafone, following up on plan changes and trying to transition people onto newer plans. Polite, didn't ask any details if you say not interested. you can change plan yourself on their website if you don't want to share you info with them.

Vodafone called to discuss my current plan. If you look up Vodafone site it will confirm this number is one of the ones they use to call their customers in Australia.

It is indeed from Vodafone. I have called back 1555 vodafone number to ask the operation to verify this number, it was indeed from them. However, the fact that they asked for pin number on their firstly initiated conversation sounds very weird. As it could be a scam to many people.
