Said they were from Green House Green Planet selling solar which seems legit. However they said they purchased details from various vendors which shouldn’t be ok. I’ve had several such calls in the last few weeks and even have my number on the do not call list. Really annoying and not ok. It’s a breach of privacy as far as I’m concerned.

Seems to be some call center, I can see more similar numbers (all the same range - 03909160xx, just last 2 or 3 digits different) reported here already. No idea who is behind it, they left no message, no VM. I really don't answer unknown numbers, tried to dig some info about this number first on internet, but no luck so far - similar numbers are reported as Sumo Power, Vodafone, pure Data Flow - so should be some indian call centre working for multiple clients. People did someone answer it? I have been using the ShouldIAnswer mobile application from these pages, works fine, can stop such calls and also a range of numbers (wery usefull for call centres). No problems.
