Caller ID 03 9112 5960 is calling my phone number on a weekly or twice weekly basis despite my number being on the do not call register. When I answer my phone, there is a slight delay and no-one speaks, then they hang up on me.

I asked who it was for they said a private company affiliated with the govt and the unformatiom would be shared with local councils. 1st question are you aged between 25 and 55...answered maybe. Next question was about marital status...said im not answering that and they immediately hung up

I am on the national do not call registered so can only assume these people are scammers. I have answered to recorded messages and hang ups. I have since blocked the number, but every few days I get blocked call notifications. It's super annoying.
