It was a recording of a lady (That was very very difficult to tell it was a recording - I only know as I kept saying excuse me, excuse me and there was no pause from the person and she just kept talking) She said "Hi I'm just calling about the note you left on my car to say you hit it, First of all thank you, not many people would leave a note these days. Now you do have insurance don't you?" It was at this point I hung up as It was obviously a scam.

Said they would be dropping off a letter signed by our neighbours, complaining about our dog. However, dog is not registered in my name or number. Asked for our address and personal details. I hung up

I got the same call saying my dog was barking and the neighbours had signed a petition that they were gonna put in my letterbox. I just kept asking who it was and eventually it said it was a prank call and then heard a woman and other people start laughing then it hung up

A lady called form +61 488 863 482 stating that our dog is barking at night and it keeps her awake. Funny because I don't own a dog!! I played along to see what she was really up to and she then asked me for my address to verify if the dog was indeed mine, so I gave her a bogus address. she then asked me for my name and surname, so this is when I told her I knew that she was a scammer and that's when she hung up on me. I have since blocked this number

Ethnic gentleman called and asked for the owner of the company, began stating our SEO was not optimised and they could offer a service to boost this. I told them they'll need to speak with my web team, if they dont mind holding. Placed the phone next to my keyboard and continued working. Call sat next to the keyboard for 12 minutes before they hung up.

When they call you, they will ask for the owner.. So play with them and say “Yes I am the owner of **** extension services .. They usually hang up after that... If they don’t – play with them a bit more and say yes we are looking for more business – and then ask them for the name of the website so you can check them out and also asked for the last 10 businesses that they’ve helped Including their names contact numbers and their businesses – then they definitely hang up on you..
