Had a call claiming he was ringing about an accident my husband had in the last 12 months ... And then said "Or was it you who had the accident?" Said no think you've got wrong number. SCAM! He had a thick northern English accent, and when asked to repeat the statement he raised his voice. If he worked in customer service I'm sure he'd be let go for terrible customer service skills.

I keep getting calls daily for insurance, car accident nonsense and so on. I block the number then a day or so later more calls from another number with similar ploy. Annoying.

My number is UNLISTED so I know for SURE that Telstra is selling personal data to SOMEONE, somewhere - thumbs down to integrity! There has been a flurry of these calls from 0731777821 also an 02 8etc # I usually block the calls - but then they pop up else where. THANK YOU to everyone who bothers to make a note of this and to *YOU* nameless faceless persons who have this site! Cheers.

Just because your number is unlisted, doesn't mean someone is selling your details. Phone numbers can be gained by indexing online, your number could have been grabbed from another website that you've used it on.

Man with deep accent who knew my name saying he wanted to speak to me about an accident I had in the past year. I told him I'd had no accident & he persists with other questions trying to get personal information. I kept asking him for his & his company name. Then he says, oh Very sorry wrong number. SCAM !

Called asking for person who used to have this number on their bill. Asked what it was regarding and said and accident that person had within the last year. Scam that I have heard is doing the rounds. The person he mentioned has been living o/s the last 2 years. Hung up quickly when I said, ha ha, good try.
