I've put a neutral rating as I didn't stay on the phone long enough to find out what they were actually offering. It was Sam who called me and he knew my name but didn't bother to tell me where he was from until I'd asked him twice - Guardian Financial Planning. After I found out where he was from he said he wasn't selling anything but wanted to do a survey on insurances and something to do with superannuation. I'm always a bit suspicious when an unsolicited caller knows my name but isn't immediately up front about where they are from so I wasn't giving him any information.

Interesting chat. This company isn't really telemarketing but they do have a genuine interest in your superannuation fund in particular the Insurance's we pay. The government is cracking down on dodgy super funds and this company actually gathers our info (with our permission) and helps us understand the insurances we pay that we sometimes over look. I'd rather someone point out to me I'm paying X amount that I don't need & also knowing my super fund is working for me. How many of you read your super financial statements? I hadn't for years. I'm glad this company phoned me.

Man with an very nasal accent (possibly Asian) rang and advised he was from Guardian Financial Services. I said I dont have time for this and dont call me. He said okay when can I call you? I hung up. Fellow knew my first name. Time wasters!

I asked her not to call me again & told her to remove my name from her call list & if I was called again I would report them. PS: whenever I get unsolicited calls, I save them to my phone as a new contact with a description of the call. That way you can see if you have repeat calls.

calling about searching for unclaimed super for me. I said I wanted to be taken off their list. Male with english accent got very aggressive and rude. I told him if I ever needed that done I would go through a legit company or the ATO and he argued and got even more rude with me. Do not answer and block as I got told he could not guarantee I would stop getting calls when I specifically asked to be removed!
