Asked if my name was ....& she knew my christian name. (Financial services) reported by Justine N

I asked her not to call me again & told her to remove my name from her call list & if I was called again I would report them. PS: whenever I get unsolicited calls, I save them to my phone as a new contact with a description of the call. That way you can see if you have repeat calls.

calling about searching for unclaimed super for me. I said I wanted to be taken off their list. Male with english accent got very aggressive and rude. I told him if I ever needed that done I would go through a legit company or the ATO and he argued and got even more rude with me. Do not answer and block as I got told he could not guarantee I would stop getting calls when I specifically asked to be removed!

Guardian Insurance Advisors and superannuation asked for me by name and said they wanted to do a superannuation check to see if getting the best deal. Politely told them no and asked to be removed from call list as I am on do not call register. Would not listen and said it was not a marketing call and I should do it. Very persistent and wouldn't take no for an answer so I hung up.

Asked to speak to Brandon as he had unclaimed super's, (Scam call) reported by Chontelle

Rang and asked to speak to Brandon. when i asked what this call was about, the lady on the phone proceeded to say he had unclaimed super's and needed to speak to him. When i told her Brandon is my 11 yr old son, she then said sorry and hung up on me. Scam!!!!!!

Rings me, just dead air when I answered, not open line as though no one talking but just dead as though not connected or other end on mute (I work in a call center, I know the difference). After about 20 seconds of nothing, call ends.

Seems to be used for some telemarketing call center - this range of numbers 7319332xx (common feature, they use more numbers of the same range) is mostly reported with Guardian Insurance Advisors and superannuation - for the real one check it here : http://www.australia.gov.au/information-and-services/money-and-tax/superannuation . Just block it if not interested (I use the app from these pages, no problems) Folks did they call you with the same or something new?
