Robot call that beeps several times when you answer then hangs up. I rang back and then spoke to a woman who said they were CLH (a diverse range of companies she said). I googled them and they are debt collectors. They have tried calling my number on landlines and mobiles. I only just got this number so I think they want whoever owned the number before me.

Looking for someone. These creeps buy debts from other companies and set out to collect. They harass everyone they think may be connected to the person owing and don't let up. They keep calling no matter how many times you tell them you don't know the person they are looking for.

The called me because they had my name, but they were trying to track someone with the same surname, although no actual relation to me. Seems like they are being some kind of private **** (meaning detective, they werent rude or anything).
