Lovely guy called Flynn rang to ask if I could support the Volunteer Fire Brigade Service by buying some raffle tickets. Agreed and I am very confident that this is a genuine not-for-profit call for assistance for a very worthy cause.

Rural Fire Brigades comprise more than 1400 volunteer brigades and more than 35000 volunteers they help protect 93% of the state's rural land without them our house would have been burnt down 5 times over . seems to be a large bush fire at least every decade here. They are out there 'fighting the good fight . please at least contribute to their Art Union who knows you might be one of the lucky winners in their raffles. please stop marking them as Negative feedback . my calls from them had been getting blacklisted

Asked me to buy raffle tickets or to make a donation but I was suspicious and declined, which was accepted gracefully. Many comments here suggesting the call is a scam; however the number 07 5480 1369 does match that on the website of the Rural Fire Brigade Association QLD: https://www.rfbaq.org/ which appears to be a legitimate charity.
