I received two calls from this number and they didn't leave a voice mail so I looked them up and found it's a known number from Rural Fire Brigades Association Qld (RFBAQ) raising funds for Queensland’s volunteer rural fire brigades. They talk about this and confirm that this is their phone number on their website: https://www.rfbaq.org/announcements?tgtPage=news&id=view,435 So while it's not a scam, it's still annoying that they have my number as I'm on the Do Not Call register which clearly doesn't not prevent charity calls.

According to my research this number has been used in alleged scamming until at least 2013. If it genuinely is a Queensland rural fire brigade collecting donations then why do they still use this corrupted number after 8 years?
