I even called them back , a lady speaking Arabic answered,and a male in the background . She couldn't understand English or French I'm now getting calls every 5 min from a blocked number which I can only assume is the same people

Your telco cannot do anything because it is not a malicious call- what you can do is ask for a silent line and register your phone on the "Do Not Call Register" Hope this helps
