Scam call reported by Accounting Firm

This number is a Scam - Calling people and insinuating that they are being investigated by the ATO for fraud and tax evasion - Lowest of the LOW... contacting elderly people. Report this number to the Police

Same call on April 7th recorded on my answering machine. My phone caller id indicated an overseas number at the time of call. The woman had a slight Anglo-Indian accent and gave that same 02 8073 4420 number to make her call sound "official" - (she is calling from outside Australia). Most postings discussing this indicate this number never answers. I think they just try and scam money out of you while on first call using scare tactics.

Some number from Sydney, I don't amswer unknown numbers - tried to find some info for it on net, but found just similar numbers searched by other people. Who is behind this one, is it some call centre? Srry for bad mark, bad experience...
