They have rung 5 times in the last 8 days. Twice we have answered (once me, once my husband)....we say hello and then a few seconds later they hang up.

Called my mobile phone and asked if it was me (they knew my name!). Stupidly I said "Yes", so now they have my voice recording. They then hung up. I am concerned this will be used against me. When I called the number back, a recorded voice message said I had called "Road Care UK" and that they would be getting back to me in a few days. This is not the first time I have been called.

Got a call from a lady who was very hard to understand from Road Care. Sounded Indian. Transferred me to a guy who was easier to understand (also sounded Indian) saying we were owed compensation for an accident last year, but as it happened over 12 months ago they were going to call back but I looked it up here and is an obvious scam so blocking their numbers.

I was called by a female who asked if this was me several times. Unfortunately I answered yes as I was drowsy. She said she had received a file stating I had had a minor car accident today. She hung up when I said that was strange as I hadn't left the house.

I had a similar call. They got me to confirm if the address they said was mine. Asking me if I was the one in an accident or a family member. I said no one was involved but he was a bit pushy and hard to understand

I just received a phone call from a 0283559972 going by the name ROAD CARE UK. An obviously Asian (with an American accent)asked me my name and if she was me,I replied yes. She then said she was from Road Care UK and wanted to talk to me about a traffic accident. I have no car at all and I told her that. Boom - hang up. These **** scammers need to be dealt with.

Told me I had been in a Road accident not too long ago. I had not (Telemarketer) reported by


as soon as I started to question the so called accident in a way that was clear I had no knowledge of ever being involved in a accident or receiving any injuries the call was cut as I was mid-sentence. Worried for a family member with the same name as myself, I called the number, I received a recording in a broad English accent telling me I had reached "UK road accident service" Convinced I was on an International phone call I quickly ended it.

I get these calls every week and there using my old licence plate number, I told them I have not been involved in a crash & now have there number on block with the rest of them. My mobile is also on the do not call register.
