Called 4 times, fake each time. (Scam call) reported by PAL
I got 4 calls on the same day from a recorded American voice saying I had a 'petition notice' against me, and possibly an arrest warrant and that my address was 'under surveillance'. The caller said he was ringing on behalf of Commonwealth Department of Public Prosecutions on behalf of the ATO and registered mail items for me had been returned to them.

Again fake ATO call, people do not fall for this trap! Block it. Do not rely on do-not-call registers, use the application from these pages for your mobile phone (it works fine for android, have the same on mine) - it can also block all negative numbers and you just receive a message that some call was blocked. Easy...

Just got the same call recorded on my land line voice mail stating they represented the ATO who have an arrest warrant for me to be issued immediately if I didn't call number back (same number 0361079631) to pay the outstanding amount. Caller also stated a registered letter was returned to them unsigned and they could prove it if I was to confirm all my personal details. I contacted ATO immediately, confirmed as scam.

Same as above. This is a scam. Call centre overseas. Report to yr local newspaper and put on Facebook. I think they may be targeting vulnerable people like pensioners.
