Indian lady called saying she was from eBay and that my account had been hacked. I haven't used eBay in years so I googled their support number and it's not this number. I confirmed to the lady they had called me (I don't know how they'd gotten my details?!) but just said Id cancel the order myself and figured out it was a scam from this site and from her reaction to me asking questions.

CC charge $199 Itunes - I called the number back (Robocall) reported by


Spoke with a very matter of urgency Indian lady who spoke very quickly and said she was from ebay. She read my mobile number back to me, I confirmed then asked me to download Teamviewer, I asked questions she kept assuring me that this was the way to get the paper work to cancel the transaction. It sounded suss to me so while she was asking I googled my ebay & paypal no transaction. Asked when this occurred she replied 2 days ago and it's pending. I then said no I'm not going to click continue I'm going to go to my bank and get them to cancel the transaction. I recorded most of the call. Wow nearly got me!!!

Recorded call saying my credit card would be debited with 199.99 for an itunes card. I rang back and the call was answered by an indian sounding woman. She suggested that one of my children must have ordered a card using my phone.She wanted details. I told her she was a fraud. She hung up. She was quite aggressive and assertive and happy to argue with me - nasty little person.
