Just to let everyone know that this number called me, left a robo voice message to call back. I called them back, took ages cos they didn't pick up. When they did pick up, an indian fella read out some things saying they found discrepancy in my tax from 2004 - 2017 and threatened legal action once they hang up the call. They read a whole bunch of things out to me, seemed legit and tried convincing me to pay $7475 to someplace in Braybrook otherwise it'll be a legal matter and the police will come and arrest me, freeze my bank accounts, take away my passport seize all my assets. I got scared but then used my instincts and asked them to verify my Tax File Number and Full Name (middle name) which they said they didn't need to. Please do not fall for this as they were almost convincing

Automated voice said I owed money to the tax office and there was a warrant for my arrest with the federal police. Advised to call the tax office on the number they were calling from. Hoax call.

tried same saying to mas as well saying they are from ATO and wanted me to pay the money by going to a target or coles outlet or else face getting arrested and loosing everything I owed. then I realised this must be scam and hang up the phone. sounded like Philipino accent. later I called the number a girl answered and said " ATO office" I asked her is this I your country and she hang up.
