A Rachell called & told me that I had other people accessing my internet connection. Wanted me to log on & she would help me sort the problem.l told her I was too busy. Called back 1 hr later. Suggested that I call back on 0391075000 & if it went to message bank they will return my call. Not likely as I am not a Telstra Customer & have't been for 20+ years.

Caller claimed to be Telstra, stating that I had purchased a phone plan with an iPhone (which I hadn't) and wanted more personal details for security reasons. I told them I hadn't purchased anything and didn't give any details. Beware!

Caller left 3 voicemails for me. I haven't been a Telstra customer for 12 mths. When I called back and quoted the ref number they gave me, they talked about another name and address, and could not work out why my mobile number was even connected to the case. Asked them to delete my details. They were apologetic, but this was a waste of 20 mins of my time.

Got a call from this number after we logged an issue with our NBN service. He troubleshooted the issue over the phone, organised for a technician to come to the house to inspect the line (as we have fibre to the house) and upgraded our modem to the new smart modem. If it was a scam, we wasn't very good at it as we came out on top! lol
