Golly, gee....my Internet Copnnection had been hacked by "someone" and "Abigail" from Telstra called to save me from these nasty people. Gave me an Employee Number and 03 9107500 as the number call back. Don't fall for it! I called telstra myself They told me no such call had been made to me by them. IT'S A SCAM. These people are the lowest form of life !!

Apparently my internet is hacked. Also, this behaviour is illegal. Really? Gosh. And how about trying to scam people? That is not illegal too? We did not get very far into the call because I told the caller that I would call her department back. I asked for her number. She offered (03) 9107 5000 . I hung up and came here to make a report.

This call was for me to "fix" my internet connection. I was told my internet was compromised and that people had stolen my identy. Now for the fact of this matter. If you follow their instructions, they WILL steal your identy, internet banking details and any other piece of information that can be sold to criminals. DONT BE FOOLED !

Telstra offering to fix my internet service (I have Optus) (Scam call) reported by


After telling the caller I believed this was a scam call and hanging up, I was called back and Sara gave me her ID number D573101 and the phone number 03 9107 5000 to verify the call. After telling her I would google the phone number to verify it on the internet she promptly hung up.
