The lady I spoke to (who seemed new) says she was calling from ITM(N?) Financial, calling on behalf of Chearter Mercantile, calling on behalf of American Express. She had none of my personal information, and wanted my date of birth and email address. I asked for the website of ITM Financial, but she refused to give it to me.

My mother recieved a call from this mobile number saying that she had a debt with David Jones - that she doesn't have. Proceeded to ask for her DOB, address and other information. I told her to hang up as it just seemed so dodgy. I called back and you get a recorded voice message that seems all legit. Then you are transferred to Indian call centre. I just feel that this is some type of scam and I would never trust someone who ASKS for your details when they call you. They prey on older people unfortunately, as they have too much trust when people call asking for money. Be careful people and NEVER give you details out to someone over the phone if you don't need to.
