Same as previous comments. Very strong accent, possibly Indian, from a call centre. Claimed they are a Telstra technical support person and they have been receiving multiple warnings about my internet connection. I told them that I did not think they were TELSTRA and to prove it. He just saif "I am". I told them that Australians are not that stupid and ended the call.

They call saying they are from Telstra, then say they are getting reports that people are trying to hack our computer when we are on the internet. They want access to the computer so they can show us ,they ask that we give them access to the computer. Telstra know nothing about this

Told me they were from Telstra and there was an issue with my internet and it would be cut off in 24 hours. I asked for his full name, Telstra id number, his supervisors' name and a reference number so if I needed to call back I could quote it. He proceeded to tell me "I could suck his ****" and he hung up. I am guessing he is not from Telstra! LOL

Male voice with an accent similar to Indian. Call centre sounds in the back ground. Stated they had noticed issues with our Internet. I told him I did not believe he was from Telstra. Started to maintain he was and I hung up.

They called 5 times in the last few days. Today was the first time that someone actually spoke. She said she was from Telstra and that over the last few days they have noticed issues with our internet. Already new she was a scammer so I asked "which account are you calling about?" she said " Im sorry what do you mean?" I said "we have multiple accounts which one are you calling about?" she hung up. So sick of these A%%****.

Indian sounding woman called "Jessica Miller" from Telstra??? (Scam call) reported by


Tried to get us to let her login into our computer to "fix" foreign internet addresses invading our computer. When I asked for her ID number so I could check her credentials with TELSTRA she said that by doing that I would get her the sack. I persisted, got her so-called ID number, rang TELSTRA and while I was speaking to the TELSTRA person who asked me to ask her what department she was from she said the technical department. The Telstra person asked which technical department and "Jessica Miller" hung up. BEWARE!!!
