Received a call from a lady claiming that I had been in an accident, told her that this was an unsolicited call and a scam and that there calls were harassing and if they didn't stop calling then I would gladly lodge a complaint with the TIO as I was on the DNCR

Scam Motor vehicle Helpline (Scam call) reported by Kayeemen
Called claiming to be Motor Vehicle Helpline and that their information (would not state source) was that I had been in an accident in the past year. Given that I have not driven a motor vehicle in the past 12 months I queried this and requested the exact date. Could not provide and when I insisted to speak to a supervisor about the source of their information they hung up. Scammers

I typed up the number and they said hello this is the first response team and then I went onto google and their number came up as a scam and then i talked to them and they asked for my credit details, This obviously means their a scam. I didn't even say anything and they asked for credit details. Sketchy.

Begun by saying I had been involved in a traffic accident. I objected to being called with openings such as this, saying I found it personally concerning. The caller turned nasty. When I said "Just tell me what you want or I'll hang up." She raised her voice and said "Don't yell at me." Then the caller hung up on ME.
