A man by the name of Victor claiming to be working for a company called Galvin who apparently works together with Tom Tom claims there are viruses affecting my computer & would like me to turn computer on to help fix it. This has been done in the past. I haven't done this yet. A few years back, I paid money to this company, about $250au to have security protection placed on my computer. That protection apparently expired hence the the call back from him. I just wanna make sure this is a legit company. It seemed like it was last time but I can't find anything about them on the internet? The number again is... +61 2800 674 74. Victor is his name that contacted me. Regards' Rob

ATO Federal Police Case (Scam call) reported by TT
Received a robot call from ATO claiming that a complaint has been made by against me by AFP for tax evasion and that I had to pay 9700 immediately otherwise I would go to jail or if I lose the case in court, I would be imprisoned for 5 years or have to pay $97,000 to the Government. Exact same phone number and he claimed his name was Kenneth Webster.

recieved a call and a machine said I have been reported by ATO to federal police. Exactly same story with Roger’s one and the reference number is same as well. Lol. Not willing to call back.

Unwanted call from ATO exactly the same story and reference number. You would think they would give up when you don't answer there calls.

AFP Scam (Robocall) reported by Virginia
Robot call from 02 8006 7474 at 12.31pm AEST 1 December 2017. Received a call on my landline. Said they were from the AFP. Said a complaint had been made against me by the ATO. Gave a case number WX xxxx and told me to ring the ATO on this 02 8006 7474 number to verify the case. Finished with Do Not Ignore. I've checked with the AFP. It's a scam!

Left a message on my machine with ATO reference number WX2754. "Do not ignore, before legal proceedings and warrant for arrest." I did not call them.

ATO warrant for arrest (Scam call) reported by Gary
Computer generated message claiming from ATO and to call back or risk being arrested. Called back and an overseas operator answered with 'ATO how can I help?' I asked who was leaving messages on my daughter's phone and they hung up.
