Several missed calls with no voicemail before I picked up on one. Had a single dial tone before the lin switched to an Optus call centre asking if I wanted to sign up to a new plan as my current one was ending soon. Said no, I'll do it later online. Was sent a text with a link by the call centre member I spoke with to the same number that sends me 2 Factor security codes and other optus sales, events and security messages. TL;DR Call centre that cold calls Optus mobile plans when you are near end of contract.

I answered and didn't say anything so after about 10 seconds they hung up. Got another call so I called back and I got an automatic voice box from "optus".

Called incessantly for days including weekends, when I picked up the phone rang a few times and they then picked up. Said they were from Optus and calling me about new data plans. Then asked me to confirm my details which I don't tend to do with a number that has called me!

Calling from Optus had a lot of information about me so seemed legitimate offered a new plan with more data but 9$ a month extra.

Considering looking up optus contact brings up "Our customer service number is 133937" i'm certain this would have turned out to be a scam call. Also not sure if this is bs or not but, "https://fakenumber.org/phone/0280" site says it's a spoofed number.

This number must be part of the range of numbers dedicated to the same call centre - I can see more similar numbers of the same range reported already, mostly with Optus call centre. In the case of this number they left no message, no idea who is behind it? People please did someone answer it? I really don't answer unknown numbers and don't want to call them back, trying to dig some info about this number on internet first..
