And you didn't even consider that maybe someone stole your identity to get phones on contracts? And until you give them your ID to verify its you, they can't tell you anything more about it without breaching the privacy act. Duh.

They constantly call and text at worst possible times. They message so many times stating my Optus account is due when I am pre paid and not on a plan. Every two days I have to delete their spam messages as I have run out of space.

SINCE I DID NOT ANSWER I DONT KNOW, BUT WHILE IT RANG MY MOBILE GOOGLE PIXEL3 ADDED MSG SAYING "SUSPECTED SPAM CALL". MY CARRIER IS OPTUS. WHILE RINGING I GOOGLED THE PH# & IMMEDIATELY NOTED SEVERAL WEBPAGES CAME UP, INCLUDING YOUR'S, WITH MANY REPORTS OF CONCERNS.
