they called me twice and I didn't answer, I called back and it said thank you for calling us back, please press 1. I pressed 1 (just to see what would happen) and it said thanks, please wait while we retrieve your account details. ii immediately hung up.

Spam. Keep away. Rang Telstra directly after initial interaction with spam phone number. Can't remember if I spoke to them or called them back a few times. Telstra confirmed they had not rung me. Continued harrassment from this number. 2-3 calls every few days. Threatening to cut off internet. NOT Telstra behaviour. Very rude. Spam call centre. Fraud.

Telstra automated notification (robotic voice) notifying me of an overdue bill. I checked my Telstra app and I do have an overdue bill so it seems that this call is not a scam.

Fortunately in my house my phone doesn't ring (reception blocked by vents). I had a missed call/voicemail come through- my phone identified it as potential scam and the voicemail was simply a computer voicemail saying "not a telemarketing call".

Definitely not Telstra because when they started asking for sensitive information we hung up And contacted Telstra and they said they never ask for drivers licence details and other sensitive information to do an identity check. Be careful!
