Similar to other reviewers, we too received a call from a heavily accented man claiming to be tax office. Threatening arrest for unpaid taxes & insisting that I call back, or risk arrest.

100% bad news. Claiming to be from the taxation department (I only heard the message) and threatening arrest for unpaid taxes (untrue) etc. I will report to the police.

Have had this same call a couple of times. Claims to tax dept and claiming that I have legal action against me. totally not true.

People did someone answer this number? I had few missed calls from this one, probably some call centre robocaller testing my number? I don't answer unknown numbers and they left no message. I was trying to dig some info on the internet, don't want to call them back until I know who might be calling but no luck - similar numbers are marked as fake ATO calls, be aware. Some idea who is it? Blocking this one now - I have been using the ShouldIAnswer mobile application from these pages, works fine, can stop such calls and also a range of numbers (very useful for call centres). No problems.
