Called regarding an energy survey. Didn't apear to know any details about me - kept calling me 'mam', not my name, and they didn't know in which State I live (kind of important when discussing energy...). When I asked how they had my phone number they said from their 'marketing department'. I said that I wasn't interested in undertaking the survey and they promptly hung up on me!

This number must be part of the range of numbers dedicated to the same call centre - I can see more similar numbers of the same range 2909569xx reported here already, so far as I can see on internet with nuisance telemarketing calls, surveys, market compare. People did they call you with something new, new scope?
