Called asking for me to do a survey to see if I was eligible for a discount. Said the discount was applicable to all states except WA...which is awkward for them because that's the state I'm in. Unable to call back their number to be a nuisance caller to them (yes, I've done this before) and was unable to find any business details online for a business / contact number / email so I could spam them.

With an Indian accent, she says she is calling form Energy Compare. Calling to gather details to see if I qualify for an energy discount and proceeds to scrape personal information on energy accounts under my name. After failing to sufficiently identify herself/reason for the call/authority, I proceed to explain that I am currently busy and I get cut off with a call disconnect! Professional!

Hoax call, trying to steal personal details. They are not a real energy company. Fake voicemail, If you call back it says 'number not in use'. Do not answer to this number!
