Sick of Coles Finances cold calling with special offers to suck you in to more credit, not that stupid. Was hoping that now NAB brought this service out from 1st June, that calls would stop, even worse now.

Told me to ring the customer support number. Of course the real and scammer will do this to gain your confidence. So I told them I would check and hanged up on them Rang the real support number (same as what they gave) and the person could not confirm that this number 0292965684 number was one of their numbers and just hanged up on me thinking I was wasting their time. Coles is so ignorant to their customers.

I always answer these unknown call without saying anything and keep the call on mute so they don't get any clue or Intel if the person is a male or female or guess the age group for further spamming. In today's spam environment, it's perfectly okay to stay quiet without even saying "Hello" and only reply after hearing a real human voice with an generic apology and thankful statement for spammers. Australian govt does nothing to prevent, identify or prosecute these con artists. So people are left with no choice but to stay silent after pressing the answer button. Yeah nah, no wePons of mass destruction are developed by scammers stealing thousands if not millions from normal middle class people. Good job!!

Too many red flags in this call for it to be genuine. Told me that the number they called from was my receipt number for the call, but clearly had hacked into personal data about me. Told me they had looked through by transactions.and the "security questions" weren't standard and was quite fishy.

Have been SMSed six times, called four times (from this number) and emailed four times to finish the application. Doesn't really make me eager to incur some debt from them if this is how they harass me to finish an application.

The caller's voice was garbled and difficult to understand so they said they would call back in a couple of hours. They didn't. My call logs show I received a call from the same number two years ago. I suspect I had similar problems back then. I've reported this call to Coles Online services.
