Sales Call Centre and they persist even though I insisted emails (Call centre) reported by


Citibank (known for dodgy tactics) have their Sales Call Centre repeatedly ring you, ignoring all requests for no contact via phone (email, or else a letter only). Citibank now runs Coles MasterCard, so use that to hound & pester card customers :(

I rang the legitimate Coles FS 1300 number and they verified they had just called me with this offer. I was initially concerned as, like others, I'd been asked if I could see the caller's number on my phone and I'd answered yes - why would they ask that? Would the "yes" be used as an id scam elsewhere?

Asked if their caller id showed up..yes.. said the called was being recorded for monitoring purposes...asked to verify first four digits or letters of my email. I said if they already knew that they can email me..I then terminated the call and realised they could be using my voice for id purposes on other calls Not happy with myself as I usually don't answer calls from phone numbers that aren't in my list of known contacts

Received a call from this number, I didn't answer and let it go to voicemail. No voicemail left. I tried calling back out of curiosity and after a few rings an automated message is playing stating it was a call from Coles Financial, it was not an urgent matter and they would try calling back.
