Identity theft frauds. They steal your identity details by deception posing as telephone company. They can use the identity details you give them to sign you up to contracts without your permission and goodness only knows what else. This scam was being used by door to door people in my neighbourhood using exactly the same tactics until the police got involved.

Call from India, when asked where he is calling from, he bleeped it out and when I kept asking. He said he has already told me he said it 3 times. So when I said not interested and take me off your list. He hung up. Painful as they have been calling for months now and I keep blocking the numbers.

These people will not let up. I blocked them on this no bit they just use another phone from their dodgy office to call from. Never leave a voicemail either.

Company claims to offer $40 off your land line/internet per month. They have your address, phone no, current plan info. Will request your DOB as they don't have this. Just make one up if you want to waste their time. Then they want your licence, medicare or passport number to organize delivery of your FREE modem. I said I didn't know my numbers and he (Shaun #111) got really angry. It is a SCAM.

5 calls in one day. Poor English, trying to find out if you have a land line. Became very abusive then told I was wasting his time. Refuses to disclose company, but poses as representing Telstra.
