Repeated calls re car accident but they have no info or name/date (Scam call) reported by Nadia
They say they are from a legal company and hang up if you question them, they cant say who they want to speak to or dates/times of incident. I have had calls on my silent home number and at work so have my colleagues. They dont say where they are calling from and when pressed they will give a bogus website to lookup. They offerref 2 different phone numbers to call back on 1 had too many numbers, the other was this number but caller ID showed an international 19 number.

Caller said the same as all others, have we been in an accident in the last 2 years, she was wanting to get irritated. Oddly enough I was in a shop yesterday and they received the same call, so I was prepared for a scam, otherwise they are general enough to start with for me to think, well maybe. When I asked which insurer they were with she told me she was not with an insurer but from a Sydney Law Firm. I just replied we had been in no accidents and we both ended the call. It would be better to string them along with fake details I think and have them chase their tails.

Adult male caller with heavy accent, "sounded like someone from India". Said 'Be prepared I'm coming to get you' in an agressive tone and then hung up. Freaked out our eldest, 10 y.o. girl who answered. No discussion of accident or lawyers as per other comments in relation to this number.

Received an overseas call using the above number. By the time I reached my phone they had hung up. Lucky for me I pay for phone number, unless not through company I use, to be shown.

"Jenny" from an Indian call centre with a bad phone line just called 13/9/2016 @ 9:52am saying I've had a car accident in the last 2 years. I said no, I've never had an accident nor made any claims. She suggests maybe my wife had. Seriously WTF!! I would know if anyone in my family has been even in a minor car accident. Stay away from these scammers.

Scam to obtain DOB and personal details. I used fake details and got all the way to them wanting to send $4000 to each passenger in a car accident. Calls from Indian speaking people.

Had the call 22 August 2016 asking if anyone in the household had had a car accident in the last two years. Said he was calling from Accident Claims and when pushed for a company name said calling from the Common Law! Scam!

I had the same call the the other day. Except it wasn't '2 years' it was 'sometime ago'. I told them i've not been in an accident ever and they were calm and said 'i'm sorry I must have wrong information. Too right you do... I knew as soon as they said 'Mrs.....'. Usually organisations say first and last name.

Beware these guys are Scammers! they just called wanting me to confirm whether I have been in an accident in the past two years and personal details. When I refused to divulge info, she became narky and insisted that I answer. I said that if she cannot give me details to confirm/deny then she doesn't work for a legal firm as they have all necessary data to claim. I ended saying she should get a real job, then she cursed and I hung up!
