Do not answer this call, it is a scam. If you scroll through this page you will notice a user called OPTUS COMPANY saying positive review of this call regarding reduce bill or whatsover. They are the scammer so do not answer.

caller advised he is calling from optus to upgrade my plan. bit suspicious as he gave me my full name and DOB and asked me to confirm if it is correct. ususally if you call optus they will ask the customer to confirm name and DOB but here is was other way arounf. he said he is going to do a plan upgrade and he calling from sydney head office. he said it only takes 2 mins to upgrade plan. i refused to confirm it and said i will call optus directly. he hung up

Called pretending to be optus and asked for personal information, when I asked him to provide proof he was who he said he was because my phone was flagging it as a scam number, he floundered for a second and ask "what would you like me to provide?" which was far from convincing.
